FFA annual update; IVVC enrollment declines but Aviation offered next year

Hinckley‑Big Rock Agricultural Instructors Tracey Sanderson and Zoey Dye presented the FFA annual update, highlighting activities from the school year and upcoming events. The board also recognized the Drama Club’s recent community performance of Twelfth Night and noted roughly 40 students participate in the club each week.
On career and technical education, the district reported a decline in IVVC enrollment for 2026–27 but confirmed it will send 30 juniors and seniors to the IVVC program. Staff said top course selections were CNA and EMT and that IVVC will add Aviation to its offerings next year; awards night is scheduled April 28 at 5:30 PM at Waubonsee Community College.
