Mayor Rezin Hudkins called the Town of Nutter Fort budget workshop to order at 5:03 p.m. on March 16, 2026. Present were Councilors Rick Lafferty, Karen Phillips and Charlene Louk; Councilors Sam Maxson and Shawn Spurlock were listed as absent. Recorder Natalie Haddix recorded attendance and departmental representation from Treasurer Leslie Cummings, Fire Chief Jeremy Haddix, EMS Supervisor Nathan Rohrbough and Public Works Supervisor Travis Yost.
The workshop focused on the FY2026/2027 General Revenue and Coal Severance budgets; after a presentation and questions, council members present voiced satisfaction with the proposed budgets. The meeting adjourned by acclamation at approximately 6:22 p.m.
