Chair said staff has drafted ordinance updates to align municipal code with the new comp-plan criteria and that those drafts will go to council in the coming months. "Essentially, they're gonna go to council probably in June," the Chair said, and staff offered to email copies of the draft ordinances for review.
A staff member said the ordinance changes reflect statutes and comp-plan criteria identified by the contractor and that several ordinance amendments will be needed; staff and a commissioner agreed to circulate a memo outlining proposed code changes before council consideration.
Commissioners were asked to review the emailed drafts and flag any concerns so staff can refine the language prior to the council hearing.
