Public works reports new truck under budget, water repairs and hydrant testing

They also completed meter reads, sold two surplus vehicles, installed curb stops at the pickleball-court parking lot, and scheduled parking-lot striping and fire-flow testing as part of finishing the water system plan.
Adam said he will be on site to finish hydrant testing later in the week to complete the water system model and hoped the Department of Health would not request more data. "I'll be out on Thursday to finish with the hydrant testing to complete the model in the water system plan," he said. Council members thanked staff for maintenance work and upcoming projects including hydroseeding the public-works entrance.
