Approved items included: an AHU-1 chiller compressor replacement with Ceroni Piping Company for $19,816; Benchmark Flooring's 1500 Hallway proposal for $21,648; C.E.S., Inc. surveying and engineering for a NW parking lot drywell replacement for $17,400; plaster-ceiling repairs with Ringland-Johnson Construction for $19,643; a Ventrac aerator and seeder accessory for $12,035.99; and an athletic trainer cart for $12,877. Most motions carried unanimously.
Some of the approved work is explicitly tied to immediate safety and remediation: the board previously authorized emergency repairs after a classroom ceiling failure and the Ringland-Johnson contract continues that remediation work in the 1923 addition. The C.E.S. contract is intended to reroute surface water near the NW parking lot; the board did not discuss any alternative vendors or longer-term capital funding for these projects in the meeting minutes.
