Deputy Clerk Katie Garber presented the village's 2026 events calendar, which includes Dinner on the Bricks and Friday- and Saturday-night concerts. Trustees approved the calendar on a 6-0 vote after staff recommended delaying Saturday concerts until after Old Settlers to avoid splitting crowds.
The board also approved a voluntary $500 pledge to the Greater Peoria Economic Development Council (motion by Trustee Weyeneth, second Trustee Glueck; 6-0). Garber presented a revised logo sheet and trustees requested a refresh that keeps the current logo but explicitly includes the phrase 'Village of Metamora.' She also reported the redesigned village website was scheduled to launch the following Monday or Tuesday.
Marketing consultant Leon Edwards of Edwards Marketing attended and offered help with concert planning; trustees discussed lowering the cost of Saturday-night concerts.
