Council rejects no-limit hours for marihuana businesses, approves 5 a.m.–12 a.m. operating window

After further discussion, Councilmember Jessica Nelson moved to amend the directive and require operating hours from 5 a.m. to 12 a.m.; the amended motion carried unanimously.
The debate included an extended discussion of the advantages and disadvantages of unrestricted hours, after which the council voted to instruct staff to begin the ordinance amendment process for the 5 a.m.–12 a.m. window.
