County staff presented four invoices and quotes over $10,000 for approval: Acree Oil Company ($15,467.34) for gasoline, Elite Glass LLC ($27,641.82) for tinted/tempered windows at a government building (phase 3), Dattison Incorporated ($32,840) for capital improvements at the administrative building, and three quotes for five sets of turnout gear for the Carnes Creek Volunteer Fire Department (NAFCO $19,480; MECO $21,000; Bennett Fire Products $18,160). Staff recommended Bennett as the low quote for turnout gear and the board approved the invoices and the recommendation by voice vote.
Staff said the window upgrades have produced measurable energy improvements at the government facility: "We've, seen noticeable energy improvements at, the facility there." The board approved the recommended procurement for turnout gear and the listed invoices were authorized for payment per the motion on the floor.
