Board approves staffing resolutions and several out-of-endorsement assignments

The Quillayute Valley School District board approved a slate of personnel actions including out-of-endorsement assignments and several annual staff resolutions for 2025–26. The board moved and passed resolutions for certificated staff, classified staff, unrepresented staff (one abstention recorded) and administrative staff, and approved named out-of-endorsement assignments.
Chair read out a list of assignments: “Rob Rogers, Forks High School math, Jason Richards,” followed by other named assignments. The certificated resolution passed; an administrator said there are roughly 85 certificated roles included on the list. The unrepresented staff resolution recorded one abstention during the roll call. The fall coaches resolution and certificated hires that had been included in the consent agenda were also acknowledged as approved.
