The Allen County Drainage Board approved the establishment of a new regulated drain for Sonora Sec. IV (Doc #26-039) and granted related encroachment permits to allow new home construction and install the subdivision outlet pipe (Docs #26-040 and #26-083).
Oakmont Development Company II (Jeff Thomas) petitioned for the new regulated drain; ACSO recommended approval. The board also approved encroachment petitions to permit construction close to the drain and to install the outlet pipe through the Geller Drain, with the standard note that owners must remove or replace fences or other appurtenant structures at their expense if future maintenance work requires it.
ACSO indicated it will retain existing periodic funds on any previously established drains until those funds are depleted, then consolidate maintenance activity under the new Unit. The approvals carried on motions from Ron Turpin and were seconded by Rich Beck.
