District awards $350,673 HVAC contract for HHS library building

Tim Downen of Hurst-Rosche presented the bid tabulation for the HHS Library Building HVAC project, which replaces window air-conditioning units with rooftop units and integrates the heating system with new construction. Four bids were received at the March 10 bid opening and Downen recommended the low bidder, Hiller Sheet Metal.
Nathan Kirby moved to award the HVAC project to Hiller Sheet Metal in the amount of $350,673.07; John Lentz seconded. The motion carried on roll call with all seven board members voting yes. The award commits the district to the stated contract amount as recorded in the minutes.
