Board hires four staff members after executive session; one leadership item tabled
Summary

After meeting in executive session to discuss personnel matters, the Hillsboro CUSD 3 Board moved back into open session and approved multiple hires.
On motions moved by John Lentz and seconded by Mike Cerutti, the board approved the employment of Erin Caveny as junior high science teacher; Coral Christian as special education teacher; Lauribeth Walter as teacher assistant; and Autumn Amling as curriculum director. Each hire was approved on a roll-call vote of five yes, zero no. A separate item to employ a junior high assistant principal/dean of students was tabled with no action taken.
