The Wisconsin Department of Transportation’s Northeast Region staff presented the department’s six-year Capital Improvement Plan for Calumet County during the June 4, 2026 Calumet County Highway Committee meeting. DOT staff described planned projects and anticipated state funding for maintenance and answered committee questions in an informational session.
Highway Commissioner Chad Scheinoha recognized the DOT staff and thanked them for the partnership; DOT staff noted appreciation for the county’s assistance. The presentation included a review of the six-year Capital Improvement Plan and a discussion of the upcoming state budget and funds that would support maintenance on the state highway system in Calumet County. DOT staff departed at 3:24 p.m.
