Street crew reports: storm cleanup, sidewalk repairs and Stonehouse picnic tables

Street Department Foreman Mark Traum told the council that "the weather has kept us busy," with crews hauling several truckloads of tree limbs around town and at the cemetery and planning to address sidewalks the following week.
Traum reported he had spoken with the construction worker at the Shimer Daycare and said the contractor will fix the portion of sidewalk that was damaged by heavy equipment. Alderman Jeff Soenksen specifically thanked the street department for filling a large hole on Rapp Street; resident Len Anderson thanked crews for assembling and staining new picnic tables for the Stonehouse.
Mayor Bates asked how sharing Dillon was going; Traum said it was going well and that communication about when Dillon is needed has improved.
