Finance report: $60.8M total funds reported; 556 absentee ballots cast so far

Interim Finance Officer Jennifer Beller presented the April Finance Officer's report at the May 19 meeting, listing total bank deposits of $58,396,498.62 and a total reported fund balance of $60,797,403.55.
Beller said the office is scanning motor vehicle paperwork into the state system to speed title turnaround and reported that 556 people had voted absentee to date. The Register of Deeds Statement of Fees collected for April was $43,875.50. Commissioners received an itemized list of departmental expenditures for April and a small inter-departmental expenditure reallocation of $373.81 for highway department fuel and services.
The finance report also included payroll and benefit disbursements for the month and a list of vendor claims submitted for approval during the meeting.
