Trustee Weyeneth questioned whether the full $2,000 pledge was required or if a smaller contribution could be made; Garber clarified the item is a voluntary pledge, not an invoice, and the board tabled the decision for a future meeting.
In a separate administrative update, Garber said Central States Marketing estimated a target website launch of "potentially late January but most likely early to mid-February." Trustee Weyeneth also mentioned that DeKalb High School received state funding for a sports complex and noted that funding opportunities exist for such projects if pursued locally.
