Opterra assessment and energy plan expected in January, village president says

President Deeb provided an update on Opterra's free building assessment for the village, saying the audit and energy plan Opterra is compiling "should be done and ready to present in January." No action or funding commitment was taken at the Dec. 16 meeting; trustees will review the report when it is presented.
Deeb also showed a prototype Lincoln trail map a visitor developed and plans to submit to the Looking for Lincoln project once finalized. The two items were recorded under old business and will return to the board for future consideration.
