Metamora staff set meeting with Rep. LaHood to discuss public safety building grant request

Deputy Village Clerk Katie Garber told trustees that "LaHood’s office contacted President Deeb to set a meeting regarding the grant funding request Garber had submitted in the spring for the public safety building." Trustee Weyeneth said he would like to attend the meeting and asked Farnsworth to prepare an updated presentation of the project.
Garber said the meeting with Congressman LaHood is being scheduled to discuss the village's grant request; the board did not vote on any funding or commit village funds at this session. Garber also said Cole McDaniel will attend a future regular board meeting in person to present his staff report.
