Residents urge Metamora to mark canceled events on village calendar

At the public-comment portion of the meeting, Rose Efaw of 111 S. Hanover Street asked the village to add cancellation notices to the online calendar so residents would not be misled when scheduled events are canceled. Efaw requested a straightforward ‘‘notice of cancellation’’ on the website calendar.
Another resident, Rosie Alig of 404 Quail Run, told trustees that the many December events concentrated in a single week can cause confusion for attendees and suggested clearer scheduling or signage. Both comments were taken for the record; trustees did not take immediate action at the meeting.
