Before adjournment the council listed memorial dedications for several community members to be honored at the meeting close. The council then entered executive session to receive legal advice concerning a pending lawsuit; counsel reported that the discussion involved receipt of legal advice and that no votes occurred during the closed session.
After returning to open session the chair called for a vote on a settlement agreement that had been discussed in executive session; the council voted unanimously to approve the settlement. Councilman DeSabato then moved to adjourn and the meeting ended.
