The Fayette County Board of Commissioners on May 4 approved several administrative changes for the Department of Job & Family Services at the recommendation of Director Faye Williamson.
The board approved a revised County Property Inventory Policy (referencing ORC 305.18) and authorized a one-time lump-sum bonus for agency staff not to exceed $34,000 in total: $1,000 for full-time employees and $500 for part-time employees. Commissioners also approved raising the small purchase threshold from $250,000 to $350,000 annually, the micro-purchase threshold from $10,000 to $15,000, and moving the department's annual vacation payout from November to September 2026 to align with federal fiscal year allocations. The actions were approved unanimously.
