Fayette County accepts low bid of $514,189 for Snowhill Road bridge rehabilitation

Other bids were $629,656 from KT Holden Construction and $693,207 from Axis Civil Construction; the board approved Eagle Bridge Co. on a motion by Commissioner Tony Anderson, seconded by Commissioner Donald Fleak, with all three commissioners voting aye. The contract award follows the county's standard bid-opening process and the county will proceed with contracting and scheduling work under the accepted bid.
