"I have decided and I have filed to run again for, the mayor of the town," the mayor said, and later described a letter of commendation sent to Chief Sheller noting Officer Dorfman’s efforts to restore water service to two elderly residents. Council members and staff praised the officer’s conduct as representative of local policing priorities and thanked staff for their work. The council moved, seconded and approved the workshop agenda unanimously before proceeding to substantive items.
