Lantana awards $73,981 contract for townwide sidewalk repairs

The Town Council voted 5–0 to award a piggyback contract to M & M Asphalt Maintenance, doing business as All County Paving Inc., for townwide sidewalk repairs in the amount of $73,981.28. Staff said the work covers roughly 38 locations and more than 5,000 square feet of sidewalks.
Introducing the item, staff told the council they were seeking support “in the amount of, $73,981.28” and noted this is the second installment of sidewalk repairs for the fiscal year. Council members asked whether this is part of a phased program and were told inspections will continue and the list of candidate repairs will grow as additional needs are identified. The council authorized the town manager to execute the contract and any amendments.
