Wilbur council to revisit senior center lease that expires in December

Council received the current Senior Center lease on June 2 and directed staff to notify the Senior Center Board that the lease, which ends in December, will be discussed at the next meeting.
Council members were provided a copy of the town’s current Senior Center lease, which expires in December. Melissa Bulger, Clerk/Treasurer, will reach out to the Senior Center Board to notify them that the lease will be on the next council meeting agenda for discussion.
At the June 2 meeting the council did not take further action on lease terms; the notification step is intended to ensure the board has time to prepare for negotiations or comments before the council’s next meeting.
