Norfolk Road near completion; town seeks replacement for daytime firefighter

Town Administrator Mari Enoch briefed the Select Board on capital project progress and staffing. Norfolk Road reconstruction is nearly complete with driveway aprons and shoulders finished; guardrails will be installed soon and line painting is scheduled to begin in August. The Keyes Hill Road bridge project is also progressing, Mari said.
Mari reported that Daytime Firefighter/EMT Zach Reynolds resigned in June and the town is looking to hire a full‑time day‑shift employee. No timetable or budgetary details for the hire were provided at the meeting.
