The Select Board agreed on May 18 to advertise a call for volunteers to serve on a five-member Designer Selection Committee for the Town Hall renovation. Letters of interest must be sent to Town Administrator Mari Enoch by Friday, May 29. After a designer is selected, the committee will transition into a Design Review Committee focused on evaluating plans to ensure alignment with the town’s priorities.
The Board said the ideal committee members will have a background in construction or architecture/design and familiarity with the project objectives. The committee will include one Select Board member and Mari Enoch will attend meetings to provide administrative support. The decision to form a citizen committee was recorded as part of the Select Board's discussion of next steps for the Town Hall renovation.
