Board honors Diana Jaramillo for 20 years of county service

The Solano County Board of Supervisors on Aug. 4 adopted a resolution honoring Diana Jaramillo upon her retirement after more than 20 years of county service. The clerk read a resume-style history that traced Jaramillo's county career through public health, child support services, the auditor‑controller's office and back to the sheriff's office, where she most recently served as clerical operations manager.
"She's the person that's gonna make sure that that warrants check is done and that deputy knows who and what he or she is dealing with," Sheriff Brad Duall said, thanking Jaramillo for building a "really strong team" that supports 24/7 public safety operations. Jaramillo, visibly surprised by the recognition, thanked colleagues and said she plans to travel with her husband after retirement.
The resolution, read into the record by staff, noted Jaramillo's roles overseeing the civil bureau, records and warrants and serving as the agency QLETS coordinator; it recognized her professionalism, mentorship and long service. The board voted to present the resolution and plaque during the meeting; county staff and family members came forward for a group photo.
