Council to form working group, hold work session on RTMP policy and application

Councilors agreed to hold a work session and form a working group to review RTMP (legacy events/funding) application materials and consider aligning Westfir procedures with Oak Ridge's application and funding structure.
Councilors reviewed a draft RTMP policy framework submitted by Kevin Goebelman and discussed whether Westfir should mirror Oak Ridge’s application format and funding rules. Several councilors said Westfir’s current RTMP application already captures much of the necessary information but recommended a dedicated work session to refine policy and processing.
Councilor (speaker 3) offered to bring back information from the RTMP committee and councilors agreed to schedule a work session in August if possible. As one councilor said: "I still recommend that we have, a working meeting for The legacy thing." The work session will focus on application form structure, funding priorities and whether to adopt Oak Ridge’s changes to eligibility and review process.
