The Montgomery Library Board of Trustees voted on Jan. 15 to increase the Library Director’s hours to 24 per week and to raise pay to $21 per hour, including a 7% municipal retirement match. Trustee Deanna Robitaille moved the change and Trustee Daniel Khan seconded; the motion was unanimously approved.
Board members asked Daniel Khan to determine how to make the change retroactive to the director’s presumed start date after the town meetings in 2025. The board added the compensation item to the agenda before taking the vote.
