County staff recommend swapping surplus North Broadway land for floodway parcel to protect Mitch Mitchell Floodway

"So in that area, it's about approximately 7.59 acres, and we consider the surplus land," Tanya said. Staff told the commission the parcels offered in exchange would protect the floodway from development and return the Broadway site to the tax rolls. Commissioners asked clarifying questions about the evaluation and next steps; staff said they followed county policy for disposition and would present the recommendation for commission action on the agenda.
