During the Selectboard roundtable members raised local concerns: Jessica Teets flagged neighborhood speeding reports from Front Porch Forum; Joel Bouvier asked about an Airport Road sidewalk study payment on the warrant and noted a fire‑damaged house on East Street slated for demolition the first week of August; Michelle Perlee reported on property tax sale outcomes; and Kris Perlee clarified that bear‑scattered trash on private property is generally not a municipal littering enforcement matter unless a public health issue arises.
Later the Board voted that premature public disclosure would place the public body or a person at a substantial disadvantage, then voted unanimously to enter executive session under 1 VSA §313(a)(1)(A) for contracts and §313(a)(2) for real estate, inviting Gregory Faust to join. The meeting entered executive session at 7:53 p.m., returned at 9:20 p.m., took no further action, and adjourned at 9:21 p.m.
