The Town Council approved the first two-year extension of Master Services Agreement RFQ 2022-16 with Coastal Science & Engineering on June 11, 2026. The extension will run from July 6, 2026, through July 6, 2028, under the contract provision permitting two additional two-year extensions; all original terms and conditions remain unchanged. Council Member Jerome Kizer moved to approve the extension; Council Member Joey Bagwell seconded the motion and it was approved unanimously.
The agreement covers professional services related to coastal protection and restoration. The extension preserves access to the firm’s services as the town continues beach-nourishment planning and related engineering work with federal and state partners.
