Edisto Beach council adopts FY 2026-27 budget

Mayor Crawford Moore and the Town Council unanimously adopted the town’s fiscal 2026-27 budget at a regular meeting held June 11, 2026, in the new Town Hall and Emergency Operations Center. Council Member Joey Bagwell moved to approve the second reading of Ordinance No. 2026-08; Council Member Jerome Kizer seconded the motion, which passed without opposition.
The adoption followed a public hearing held immediately before the meeting at which no members of the public spoke. Council did not record any amendments at the second reading. The ordinance was approved by unanimous vote of the mayor and council present.
