Superintendent Owen Crosby said the most impactful element of the forum "was hearing directly from a panel of thirteen students, who openly discussed their perspectives on attendance." Trustees were told the Board will review the draft LCAP at its June meeting and will approve the final plan at a special meeting before July 1 so it can be submitted to the Shasta County Office of Education.
Administrators described next steps for the LCAP and signaled continued focus on attendance interventions and student engagement strategies identified at the forum.
