District reports 3,071 students enrolled in CTE; $8 million in grants secured

She credited Internship Coordinator Bret Barnes and maintenance staff for program support and said the district has secured approximately $8 million in grants; she added the department will use a $1 million grant to increase participation for students with intellectual disabilities.
Trustees asked about outreach materials and requested a CTE flyer similar to prior years. The Board commended the program for offering additional pathways and internship opportunities that support career readiness.
