At its Aug. 12 meeting the Upper Hanover Township Board adopted Resolution No. 2025‑24 recognizing Kim Jacobs for 15 years of service on the township Historical Committee. The resolution passed 4‑0 on a motion by Dottie Diehl, seconded by Stefan Laessig, and the board presented the award to Jacobs.
The board also adopted Resolution No. 2025‑27 recognizing the East Greenville Fire Company for 125 years of volunteer service. Ben Fiorito moved the resolution, Dottie Diehl seconded, and the motion carried 4‑0. No funding or other action accompanied the recognitions; both were formal ceremonial acknowledgements entered into the meeting record.
