Iroquois County board approves payroll, claims and several finance committee measures

At its April 14 meeting the Iroquois County Board approved March payroll and the Finance/IT/Tax Committee’s recommendations, including Resolution No. R2026-21 (authorizing the sale of parcel #27-02-269-010) and Ordinance No. 2026-7 authorizing disposal of county personal property no longer needed for public purposes.
The Management Services committee recommended renewing the 911/ETSB lease at $14.06 per square foot for two years, producing an annual lease total of $24,675.30. Finance Manager Jill Johnson reported work on the FY2024 audit and noted tax revenues coming in lower than anticipated; she also said ARPA reporting is due April 30 and that county auditors were granted access to systems to speed audit completion.
The Finance/IT/Tax committee discussed a recent internet outage that engaged backup internet service and ongoing server projects; committee members approved claims for payment subject to board approval. The board approved the committee’s motions and the claims by roll call vote.
