Jolene Miller reported that the district's science committee met virtually on March 16 to evaluate pilot curriculum materials; staff hope to bring a full proposal in April or May for board consideration. Social-studies teams are reviewing materials for alignment with Illinois standards, and Mr. Menshing has been piloting a new Spanish curriculum slated for implementation next school year.
The district will continue classroom piloting and standards review before any formal adoption or purchase requests reach the board.
