Larry King told the board that middle-school enrollment remains steady and that IAR testing occurred March 9–13. King highlighted student achievement in extracurriculars—Hope Fredrickson represented Indian Creek Middle School at the county spelling bee and finished fourth overall.
King also said the 5-Essentials survey recorded high participation among students (96%) and staff (85%), with just under 20% of parents responding. He reported a job fair scheduled for March 20 with about 35 speakers lined up.
