Willis also told the board the district is still waiting to hear on a School Resource Officer (SRO) grant and asked the board whether it would fund an officer if the grant is not awarded. On revenue, Willis said the tentative tax levy reflects roughly $5.3 million in new construction with about $1.7 million attributable to commercial valuation.
