Special education report: preschool sessions and screening scheduled Nov. 6

Matthew Swanson presented the Special Education Report at the Oct. 20 meeting. He reported 13 students in the morning preschool session and 8 in the afternoon and announced a preschool screening scheduled for Nov. 6, 2025. Swanson said paraprofessional positions are being filled to staff programs.
Swanson also reported that staff (Heather and Viki) are collecting immunization records and entering them into the system for review by the DeKalb County Health Department; the minutes note those records are checked by the state. No public comment was recorded on the Special Education report.
