Shimer Square: 51 apartments coming; daycare construction on track for fall 2025

Brian Hollenback, presenting an Economic Growth update, said work is underway on 51 apartments at Shimer Square and that "as of today we have 150 people on the waiting list." He told the council the apartments should be available by fall 2025.
Hollenback also reported the daycare project is progressing with drywall and siding installation. He said, barring further weather delays, the facility is hoped to open in fall 2025. The council approved a proclamation supporting the daycare for the month of April by roll-call vote.
