The Village of Jerome Board approved Warrant List 27-03, authorizing payments totaling $32,590.37.
Treasurer Emily Snow told the Board the warrant would be paid from several funds: $13,310.04 from General Revenue, $16,018.41 from the Water Account, $861.92 from the 1% Fund and $2,400.00 from the Cannabis Fund. Trustee Ralph Irons moved to approve the warrant and Trustee Joe Cannella seconded; the motion passed on roll call.
Following the finance vote, President Mike Lopez highlighted recent funding and infrastructure actions: he said the village will receive "$75,000.00 for updates to the park including infrastructure and ADA compliance," and noted prior appropriations not received last year totaling $1,129,000 that will support work such as milling and overlay of Iles and possible future work on Vernon Avenue. Lopez also said he has asked IDOT for a traffic study at Park and Leonard Streets.
