The Jerseyville City Council adopted a 2025 tax levy estimate at its Nov. 12 meeting. Commissioner Anthony Steckel moved for approval and Commissioner John Miles seconded; the motion carried on a unanimous roll call.
Commissioner Steckel told the council that levied amounts were increased in several funds, specifically street maintenance, parks and recreation, and the police pension fund.
