At 6:33 p.m. on Sept. 24 the Jasper CCSD 17 Board voted to move into executive closed session under cited Illinois statutes covering personnel matters (5 ILCS 120/2C(1)), collective bargaining (5 ILCS 120/2C(2)) and student disciplinary cases (5 ILCS 120/2(C)(9)). The motion passed by roll-call vote of members present.
The Board reconvened in open session at 6:57 p.m., approved the executive session minutes as recorded, and later adjourned the regular meeting at 7:08 p.m. on a motion by Josh Zurliene and seconded by Justin Atwood. The minutes record roll-call votes for entry to and exit from executive session and for approval of the executive session minutes.
