Trappe — The council met in executive session on July 2. Commissioner Brian Schmidt moved to open the meeting and enter executive session at 5:00 p.m. to discuss public safety; Commissioner Walter Chase seconded and the minutes record the motion as unanimously approved. Commissioner Michael Sullivan moved to adjourn the executive session at 5:45 p.m.; Commissioner Chase seconded and that motion was unanimously approved.
The regular meeting began at 6:00 p.m. President Newnam called the council to order; the council approved the agenda and the June 4, 2025 minutes by unanimous votes recorded in the minutes. The Clerk's Report was filed with the records and the council voted to suspend reading it aloud during the meeting. The meeting was adjourned at 6:35 p.m.; the minutes record a unanimous approval to adjourn but do not itemize individual votes.
