Minimum bids were set at $100 for most parcels; parcel 2069 Windisch Drive carries a $10,000 minimum. Staff said proceeds will go into the property redevelopment fund and that bids will be opened at the June 1, 2026 council meeting. Council approved the ordinance 7-0 on final reading.
The ordinance aims to reduce recurring maintenance costs and encourage property reuse. Staff said the process includes contingency protections should properties return to nuisance conditions.
