Committee asks members to submit 'blue' edits by Sept. 1; final review set for October

Janice Banks walked members through the recommendations layout and asked them to use color-coded edits. She said she will circulate the materials and requested edits be returned in blue by Sept. 1.
‘‘I’m going to email these recommendations to everyone so that you can make your recommendations on so we can differentiate which ones they are,’’ Banks said. ‘‘Put your recommendations in blue and return your documents with your recommendations by September 1 to me.’’
Why it matters: the committee needs to consolidate member input before legal review and submission to the commission. Members asked for a follow-up meeting to review final recommendations; the group tentatively scheduled an October review meeting (Oct. 16).
Next steps: members will submit edits to Banks by Sept. 1 and the committee will reconvene in October to finalize the package for legal review.
