The district took two procurement actions at the Aug. 11 meeting: approval of a special-education curriculum purchase and acceptance of a firm fuel bid.
By motion the board approved purchase of HMH curriculum for special education at a cost of $87,389.00. The same meeting approved the firm fuel bid for calendar year 2025–26 with Arneson Oil Company at prices recorded in the minutes: unleaded fuel at $2.67875 per gallon and 5% biodiesel at $3.1599.
These purchases were approved by voice vote and recorded as carried. The curriculum purchase supports special-education programming for the coming year; the fuel contract secures prices for district transportation and maintenance operations through the budget year.
